As part of its online survey of MBAs from the Class of 2012, Bloomberg Businessweek asked students to rate programs on specific aspects of the business school experience. Recently, they released a ranking of the top ten programs for information technology (IT), based on this feedback. Points were assigned in conjunction with the survey responses (one point for “poor,” six points for “outstanding”), offering an inside perspective on how students view their experiences within their respective programs. The average score across all 82 schools included in the ranking (both domestic and international) was 4.02, placing Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business well in the lead, edging out tech powerhouse MIT Sloan.
