Amazon has chosen the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business to become the world’s first business school to participate in its new Kindle education project. For those who still read…. uh… what are they called?…books?… Kindle is an electronic reading device developed by Amazon. Using this device, MBA and Executive Education students and professors will be able to access textbooks and other learning materials easily, affordably and in an environmentally friendy way (Darden students read hundreds of pages of photocopied cases each week, and this will cut back significantly on paper waste). Amazon will monitor the program via online surveys and evaluations, and if it proves successful, Kindle DXs just might be rolled out to a B-School near you.
A first-of-its-kind, on-demand MBA application experience that delivers a personalized curriculum for you and leverages interactive tools to guide you through the entire MBA application process.
