Earlier today we posted a story on our jdMission blog about Yale Law School starting a Law Library Therapy Dog Pilot Program to help relieve the stresses of law school. For three days next week, students can sign up to “check out” Monty (short for General Montgomery), a border terrier mix, for 30 minutes in a non-public place in the library. If the program proves successful, the school is considering making it a permanent, ongoing offering. We got to thinking, with the intense and often stressful curriculum at the top business schools, would this be a good program for MBA libraries to adopt as well? Would you like to check out a puppy to play with in between studying for “Marketing Strategy” and “Corporate Finance”?
