In an article in this morning’s Harvard Crimson, HBS’s Director of Admissions, Dierdre Leopold, offers some admissions stats that should be of interest to those who follow “all things HBS”:
– application volumes rose by 14.5% during the last admissions cycle
– 8500 applications were received this year, second only to the 10,000+ received in 2004
– 320 undergraduates applied this year
– 21 undergraduates were given offers (“direct admits”) and 15 were offered deferred admission
