Earlier today, Harvard Business School (HBS) unofficially kicked off the MBA application season once again by releasing its application deadlines and essay questions for the Class of 2015, this time with some significant changes to the entire application process. Below are the deadlines for each of the school’s three admissions rounds, as well as the two mandatory essay questions and one brief career essay for applicants to the full-time MBA program. HBS also added a new post-interview, 400-word write-up that will give those selected to interview (approximately 25% of applicants) a mere 24 hours to submit their “last word” to the school, with more details to be provided at a later date.
Deadlines:
Round 1 – Monday, September 24, 2012
Round 2 – Monday, January 7, 2013
Round 3 – Monday, April 8, 2013
Essay Questions:
- Tell us about something you did well. (400 words)
- Tell us about something you wish you had done better. (400 words)
- How does pursuing an MBA support your choices above? (500 characters) – (To be answered after selecting a target post-MBA industry and function)
