This morning, in the Wall Street journal, an article of interest to prospective MBAs appeared, “Internet Gives M.B.A. Schools Global Reach.” While the headline itself may be a bit of a platitude, the spirit of the article itself is that MBA programs are using social networking to their advantage to recruit around the world. It is of course advantageous to have a burgeoning web-presence now, but even more so, MBA programs are eyeing the arrival of the “millennials,” who grew-up online and tend to connect one-to-one online.
