Richard is having his family room painted. Paint X costs $10/gallon and Paint Y costs $7.50/gallon. Paint Y takes one-quarter longer to apply than Paint X. If Richard is paying someone to paint the room, which paint will be cheaper to apply?
(1) The ratio of the area covered by one gallon of Paint X to the area covered by Paint Y is 5:4.
(2) Paint X will require 4 gallons of paint and 10 hours of labor.
(A) if statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked;
(B) if statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient to answer the question asked;
(C) if BOTH statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are sufficient to answer the question asked, but NEITHER statement ALONE is sufficient;
