How I Can Help You
My style is collaborative, inquisitive, and empathetic, with a steady dose of candid feedback throughout our work together. My overall goal is to be a strategic partner that brings out the best in you, helping you convey your strengths clearly without too much ego, and encouraging self-reflection and authenticity to help draw out and present your most compelling professional and personal stories. I offer structure and precision in our workflow and process; a past client described working with me as “being part of a well-oiled machine.”
Why Choose Me
I am a strategic communications consultant to my clients, a role that is born from my parallel journeys as a language lover and business professional. Before I earned my dual MBA/MA at the University of Pennsylvania at Wharton and Lauder, I received a dual BS/BA from UC Berkeley in business administration and linguistics. Weaving my language skills into business settings has long been my passion, and I’ve helped dozens of clients of diverse backgrounds and goals tell their stories effectively and gain admission to MBA, MA, and MPA programs at such top programs as Harvard Business School, the Stanford GSB, Wharton, Lauder, the Harvard Kennedy School, Northwestern Kellogg, Berkeley Haas, MIT Sloan, Chicago Booth, Duke Fuqua, Dartmouth Tuck, and Emory Goizueta.
As a lifelong language and culture enthusiast, I’ve lived and worked in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, and the United States. I speak Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese, all languages I have used in professional settings, including admissions consulting.
Before I attended business school at Wharton, I worked in sales and trading at Lehman Brothers and Nomura. After graduating, I joined Kearney as a management consultant, then moved on to Meta, where I was a sales strategy and operations leader. Most recently, I led business development at a global nonprofit software company. As someone who used my MBA to change everything about my professional path— industry, function, and geography—I can share with clients my personal experience of crafting effective strategies and narratives that enable such career changes.
